Nestled along the serene waters of the Adour River, my recent two-night stay at Péniche Djebelle was nothing short of enchanting. From the warm and welcoming hosts, Isabelle and Patrice, to breakfast served on the deck overlooking the stunning old city of Bayonne, every moment felt like a slice of heaven. The quaint charm of the boat provided a unique maritime twist to our getaway, placing us within walking distance of delightful restaurants and vibrant cultural spots. With the option to borrow bicycles for a scenic ride around the area, we were effortlessly immersed in the beauty of the region. This isn't just a place to stay; it's a home away from home that truly caters to those who appreciate the finer things in life. I can't wait to return to this magical oasis!
